David T. Tischinski, O.D.

Dr. David Tischinski, a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, joined the Bennett Eyecare Midwest team in August of 2002. Having graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in health/pre-medicine in 1998. Dr. Tischinski continued his education at Indiana University School of Optometry, in Bloomington, Indiana.

Prior to his graduation in 2002, Dr. Tischinski's training included rotations at the United States Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia; Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Mississippi; the John Kenyon Eye Center, Louisville, Kentucky; and the Atwater Eyecare Center, Bloomington, Indiana.

Dr. Tischinski believes the most gratifying aspects of being an optometrist are meeting new people, dealing with visual needs on an individual basis, and providing the most thorough, high quality eye care available.

Away from the office , Dr. Tischinski enjoys spending time with his family and watching his two children at their various sporting events which include basketball, soccer, baseball gymnastics, and dance. He also enjoys playing golf, fishing and doing just about anything that is sports related.
